Spike Lee and Denzel Washington reunite for "High and Low" adaptation, backed by Apple and A24, with production set for March.

Spike Lee and Denzel Washington, who last collaborated in 2006, are reuniting for an adaptation of Akira Kurosawa's "High and Low." Apple Original Films will co-finance the project, with A24 releasing the film theatrically before it streams on Apple TV+. The movie, a thriller with class commentary, follows a wealthy industrialist who becomes the target of kidnappers. The film is set to start production in March.
