Northern Ireland Children's Hospice funding cut of £85,000 is to be reinstated, and its core £1.6m grant secured year-on-year.

Funding withdrawn from the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice will be reinstated, with the Department of Health confirming that the £85,000 that had been cut will be returned. The charity previously had to make up the difference in funding through fundraising during the cost-of-living crisis. Additionally, Health Minister Robin Swann guaranteed that the hospice's core grant of £1.6 million will be guaranteed year-on-year, allowing staff to plan ahead.
