J&K Police hosted a farewell function for Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi who is set to become Army Vice Chief on February 15. Dwivedi praised the synergy between the police and army, stating that unwavering trust between the two has led to successful operations against terrorists. He will be replacing Lt Gen MV Suchindra Kumar as the new Army Vice Chief. J&K Director General of Police (DGP) RR Swain expressed gratitude for Dwivedi's support and cooperation during his tenure in the region.
