Molong greyhound trainer Augustus Weekes acquitted of allegedly doping dog with alcohol, betting on another.

Augustus Weekes, a Molong greyhound trainer, has been acquitted in a race controversy. He was accused of giving one of his dogs, Winlock Lloyd, alcohol to affect the outcome of a race in Bathurst and betting on another dog in the same race. However, Mr. Weekes denied the allegations and stated he only gave Winlock Lloyd Neutradex, which he refers to as "liqueur." After a lengthy hearing in Orange Local Court, all charges against Mr. Weekes were dismissed due to reasonable doubt.
