ISRO plans to launch INSAT-3DS meteorological satellite on 17 Feb for improved weather forecasting.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is set to launch the INSAT-3DS meteorological satellite on February 17 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR at Sriharikota. Funded by the Ministry of Earth Sciences, the satellite aims to enhance meteorological observations, improving weather forecasting and disaster warning capabilities. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has clarified that there is "no foul play or connection" in the recent deaths of five Indian students in separate incidents in the United States.
