Over 100 schools in England with buildings containing "crumbly" concrete will have their structures rebuilt or refurbished. The Department for Education (DfE) announced a final list of 234 schools with reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (Raac) in their buildings, of which 119 will need extensive or complex repairs. An additional five schools will receive alternative arrangements for removing Raac, while 110 will benefit from grant funding for smaller-scale removal projects.
