Air Liquide invests €40m to modernize Stade, Germany site, integrating CO2 recycling to reduce emissions by 15,000 tonnes/year.

Air Liquide has invested €40m into modernising their industrial gas supply operation with Dow at their Stade, Lower Saxony plant in Germany. This investment will not only lead to greater operational efficiency, but will also help to reduce CO2 emissions by increasing energy efficiency by 15% and reducing emissions by up to 15,000 tonnes per year. The updated operation includes two Air Separation Units (ASU) and one Partial Oxidation plant, all of which will have a new CO2 recycling solution implemented.
