US Justice Department continues its antitrust investigation into Ticketmaster, delaying filing a complaint from late 2023 to this year due to slow response and reliance on third parties.

The US Justice Department (DoJ) is continuing its antitrust investigation into Ticketmaster, delaying plans to file a complaint from late 2023 to sometime this year. The DoJ is frustrated with Ticketmaster's slow response to its requests for information and has had to rely on third parties to help build its case. In December, the DoJ sent follow-up information requests to rival ticketing platforms. Ticketmaster and Live Nation completed their merger in 2010, agreeing to divest some assets to appease US antitrust officials.
