Two of four accused in 2022 Canada-U.S. border blockade conspiring to kill RCMP officers plead guilty to lesser charges in Lethbridge court.

Two of the four men accused of conspiring to murder Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) officers during a 2022 blockade at the Canada-U.S. border crossing in Coutts, Alberta, have pleaded guilty to lesser charges. Jerry Morin and Christopher Lysak entered their pleas in a Lethbridge courtroom on Tuesday. Morin pleaded guilty to conspiracy to traffic firearms, while Lysak pleaded guilty to possession of a loaded restricted firearm (handgun) in an unauthorized place.
