Investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have found that bolts securing a panel on a Boeing jetliner were missing before it blew out during midflight last month. According to preliminary findings released on Tuesday, the door panel on an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 that fell off during flight had no bolts installed on the door plug. This information was obtained from a picture of the aircraft in a factory in Renton, Washington.
