NAB's CEO, Ross McEwan, is succeeded by Andrew Irvine, head of business & private banking, effective April 2.

National Australia Bank (NAB) has announced that Andrew Irvine will replace Ross McEwan as Chief Executive Officer. Irvine, who currently leads NAB's business and private banking division, will take on the role on April 2. McEwan, who has led the bank for over four years, will retire from executive roles. Irvine's appointment has been praised for his experience in leading Australia's largest business bank franchise, as well as his international experience and knowledge of risk management.
