Mozilla launches paid subscription service, Monitor Plus, scanning & removing personal info from 190 data broker sites, building on its free email breach alert system.

Mozilla has launched a new subscription service called Monitor Plus that automatically scans and removes personal information from data broker sites. The service builds upon the previous Mozilla Monitor (formerly Firefox Monitor) which provided alerts for users if their email had been involved in a data breach. Over 10 million people have signed up for the free version. The paid subscription version, Monitor Plus, costs $9 per month or $107.88 per year. It scans more than 190 data broker sites - twice the number monitored by competitors - and advises users on how to have their data removed.
