Five fishermen rescued off Donegal coast via 26-hour mission by Arranmore RNLI after fishing boat faced difficulties.

Five fishermen were rescued in a dramatic 26-hour mission off the coast of Donegal. Their fishing vessel encountered difficulties on Sunday evening, 48 miles north of Arranmore. The Arranmore RNLI was tasked by the Malin Head Coast Guard and spent over 26 hours at sea. In challenging conditions, a decision was made to establish a tow to bring the fishing vessel to a safe port. The lifeboat crew returned home in the early hours of Tuesday morning, after leaving at 10.50 pm on Sunday.
