Clayton Kershaw agrees to return for a 17th season with the LA Dodgers in 2024.

Clayton Kershaw is returning to the Los Angeles Dodgers for his 17th Major League Baseball (MLB) season, after agreeing to a contract with the team. Kershaw, 35, will not be ready to pitch at the start of the season due to offseason shoulder surgery and is expected back at some point during the summer. The veteran left-handed star has had a storied career with the Dodgers, being named the 2014 National League (NL) Most Valuable Player (MVP), a three-time Cy Young Award winner, a 10-time All-Star, and a World Series champion.
