Bruker Corporation acquires Spectral Instruments Imaging and Nanophoton, expanding its preclinical solutions and molecular microscopy portfolio.
Bruker Corporation has recently announced the acquisition of Spectral Instruments Imaging (SII), a leading preclinical in-vivo optical imaging systems company. This acquisition, along with the later acquisition of Nanophoton Corporation, broadens Bruker's range of preclinical solutions for disease research and expands its molecular microscopy portfolio. SII is known for its advanced optics and technology while Nanophoton is a pioneering Japanese company in research Raman microscopy. Both companies provide technologies for applications in preclinical research, semiconductor inspection, battery testing, and more.
