Study: Zepbound (tirzepatide) reduces systolic blood pressure in obesity patients besides weight loss and diabetes control.

A new study shows that the weight-loss drug Zepbound, also known as tirzepatide, provides more health benefits than just dropping pounds and controlling diabetes. It also helps people with obesity manage their high blood pressure. Patients taking Zepbound experienced a significant reduction in their systolic blood pressure, the top number in a blood pressure reading. The study was published in the journal Hypertension and found that participants taking higher doses of the drug experienced greater reductions in their systolic blood pressure.
