Parliamentary Standing Committee on External Affairs prepares terrorism countering report to be submitted to Rajya Sabha on Feb 5th.
The Parliamentary Standing Committee on External Affairs has prepared a report on "Countering Global Terrorism at Regional and International Levels" which is set to be submitted to the Rajya Sabha on February 5th. The report, consisting of recommendations to address the threat of terrorism, both domestically and internationally, is non-binding but aids the legislature in monitoring the executive. Rajya Sabha MPs Ashok Kumar Mittal and Prakash Javadekar will present the report (in English and Hindi) to the Upper House.
