Pakistan's NHMA enforces mandatory M-Tag usage for motorways starting February 5, requiring registration and denying entry without it.

The National Highway and Motorway Authority (NHMA) has made M-Tag registration mandatory for all vehicles on motorways starting from February 5. The decision aims to provide convenience for motorists and ensure a free flow of traffic through entrance and exit points on motorways. To obtain an M-Tag, motorists can visit customer care centers with their vehicle registration book/card and CNIC. Vehicles without M-Tag will not be allowed on motorways after February 5.
