Earl "The Twirl" Cureton, a two-time NBA champion and Detroit Pistons community ambassador, has passed away at the age of 66. Cureton, known for his kindness and generosity, played in the NBA for 12 seasons and was deeply involved in giving back to the Detroit community. After his playing career, he worked with the Pistons as a community ambassador and was instrumental in the revival project of St. Cecilia’s Gym, a renowned basketball mecca in Detroit.
