Legendary Indian sprinter and IOA President PT Usha was awarded the 'Lifetime Achievement' Award by SJFI and DSJA at the National Sports Club of India. In a notable career from 1977 to 2000, Usha won 103 international medals for India, including four gold and seven silver medals in the Asian Games. By receiving this award, she follows previous recipients like Vijay Amritraj, Prakash Padukone, Sunil Gavaskar, and Milkha Singh. Usha, who is now focusing on fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of making India a sporting power by 2036, expressed gratitude for the recognition.
