Namibian President Hage Geingob passes away.

Namibian President Hage Geingob passed away on Sunday at the age of 82, after being treated for cancer at a hospital in Windhoek. Geingob, who served two terms as president, was the first president of Namibia from an ethnic group other than the Ovambo, which makes up over half of the country's population. Prior to his presidency, Geingob was an anti-apartheid activist and served as the country's first Prime Minister after independence.
