A 14-year-old boy was arrested in Northern California for the non-fatal shooting of another teenage boy in the parking lot of a Sacramento high school. The incident occurred at Grant Union High School, which was placed on lockdown for about two hours. The 17-year-old victim was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the arm. The police were alerted to the shooting by a ShotSpotter activation and quickly arrested the 14-year-old suspect near the school. The shooting was targeted, and the motive is still under investigation.
