A second man has been charged in connection with the kidnapping and sexual assault of a teenage girl in Winnipeg in September 2023. The girl was abducted at knifepoint and was repeatedly sexually assaulted over several hours before managing to escape and contact the police. A 40-year-old man was previously arrested and charged, and now a 39-year-old man has also been charged with sexual assault and is being detained in custody.
