Michael Jordan's championship Air Jordan sneakers, known as The Dynasty Collection, were sold for a record-breaking $8 million at Sotheby's auction house in New York. The collection includes six Air Jordan shoes worn during the clinching games of his six career NBA Finals championships. The record-breaking sale is the second-highest price for Michael Jordan memorabilia, behind his 1998 NBA Finals Game 1 jersey, which sold for $10.1 million in September 2022. Sotheby's had estimated the set would sell for between $7 million to $10 million.
