TC Transcontinental Printing closes St-Hyacinthe plant in Quebec by April, transferring activities to Montreal's Anjou borough, affecting 190 employees.

TC Transcontinental announced it will close its printing plant in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, in April. The decision comes as a result of the company replacing its Publisac flyer service with the "raddar" folded flyer, reducing the need for the plant's operations. The plant's activities will be gradually transferred to the company's other plants, primarily in Montreal's Anjou borough. The closure will impact 190 employees, and TC Transcontinental will provide career transition support and relocation opportunities for affected workers.
