America's Test Kitchen has shared a recipe from "A Very Chinese Cookbook" by Jeffrey and Kevin Pang for a traditional Hunanese dish, red-braised pork belly, ideal for celebrating the Lunar New Year. The dish involves pork belly being glazed in a sweet red sauce. The book was co-written with America's Test Kitchen and features 100 recipes from China. In addition to the pork belly dish, other recipes include cold sesame noodles and sticky spareribs with Chinkiang vinegar.
