Aldi receives approval for a new €7M store in Limerick, creating 30 permanent jobs and 50 during construction, set to open in late 2025.

Aldi has received final planning permission from An Bord Pleanála to open a new €7 million store in Limerick's northside. The store, set to open in late 2025, will create 30 permanent jobs and provide 110 car parking spaces and 10 bike parking spaces. The store will also be powered entirely by green electricity, with 90sqm of solar panels on its roof. Aldi's investment in the Limerick store is expected to provide further opportunities for local food and drink suppliers to work with the supermarket chain, which currently works with six food and drink producers in the area.
