Former Florida Highway Patrol Trooper, Jesse Rance Moore, has been sentenced to 21 years in federal prison for robbery and brandishing a firearm. Moore was found guilty by a jury on November 2, 2023. The Department of Justice announced the sentencing on Tuesday. Moore had been robbing multiple pharmacies at gunpoint in the Columbia County area since 2022, with surveillance footage capturing him demanding oxycodone, OxyContin, and Percocet.
