Latvian MEP Tatjana Zdanoka identified as Russian intelligence agent.
Latvian Member of European Parliament, Tatjana Zdanoka, has been identified as a Russian intelligence agent operating between 2004 and 2017, according to an investigation by Re:Baltica, The Insider, Delfi.ee, and Expressen. The investigation found that Zdanoka had been in contact with her FSB handlers, specifically Dmitry Gladei, since 2005, asking for financial support to organize events. The Kaitsepolitseiamet (KaPo or Estonian Internal Security Service) publicly stated in a report in 2005 that the European Russian Alliance, of which Ždanok is a member, is a puppet of the FSB.
