The Gonzales County Sheriff's Office has issued an Amber Alert for 14-year-old Scarlett Smith, who was last seen in Gonzales, Texas. She is believed to have been abducted by 22-year-old Barry Van Mersbergen. The suspect, also known as Ben, is driving a tan 2012 GMC Terrain with the Texas license plate number 3RVWG. Authorities believe the teenager is in grave or immediate danger and are urging anyone with information to contact the Gonzales County Sheriff's Office at (830) 672-6524.
