AAP leader Swati Maliwal visits Hanuman Temple ahead of Rajya Sabha oath, expressing hopes for a budget beneficial to women, farmers, the poor, youth, and middle class.

Ahead of the start of the interim budget session, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Swati Maliwal offered prayers at the Hanuman Temple in Connaught Place, Delhi on Wednesday. The former Delhi Commission for Women chief will take the oath as a Rajya Sabha Member of AAP. She expressed her hopes for the budget to benefit women, farmers, the poor, the youth, and the middle class. AAP leader Swati Maliwal was among the AAP members Sanjay Singh, Swati Maliwal, and ND Gupta who were elected unopposed as Rajya Sabha members on January 12.
