Noida International Airport's first phase set to open in September, using 70% budget; launch carriers IndiGo and Akasa Air.

The first phase of Noida International Airport is scheduled to open for flight operations by September this year, having utilised 70 percent of its allocated budget. Additional Chief Secretary SP Goyal reviewed the development work and directed officials to complete it by the said deadline. The airport, being developed on 1,300 hectares, will be supported by IndiGo and Akasa Air as its launch carriers.
