Man sentenced to life for intentionally deadly hit-and-run outside Reno homeless shelter.

A Nevada homeless man, David Turner, 58, was sentenced to life in prison without parole for intentionally driving his Jeep into a crowd of people outside Reno's homeless center in April 2021. The attack resulted in the death of Michelle Jardine and serious injuries to Christina Roman and her daughter Clarissa Roman. Turner admitted to the crime, stating his motivation was to return to prison. The victims' families will experience long-term physical, mental, and emotional impacts from the incident.
