A Johnson City man, Jeremy Stines, has been cited for manufacturing alcohol, possession of a still, and unlawful storage of liquor for sale following the discovery of a moonshine operation by authorities in Washington County, Tennessee. Stines, 36, led investigators to a yard barn on the property, where they found liquor manufacturing equipment along with 81 quarts of alcoholic beverages. Both manufacture of alcoholic beverages and unlawful storage of liquor for sale are classified as Class A misdemeanors under state law.
