A five-year-old male leopard was hit by a speeding vehicle on Pune-Nashik Highway and rescued by Wildlife SOS.

A five-year-old male leopard involved in a serious accident on the Pune-Nashik Highway has been rescued and is being treated at a specialized medical facility. The incident occurred on Monday night in Kalamb area of Manchar Forest Range, where a speeding vehicle struck the leopard. The Maharashtra Forest Department contacted Wildlife SOS, who successfully tranquilized the injured animal using a dart gun and transported it to the Manikdoh Leopard Rescue Centre in Junnar for treatment.
