Blizzard Entertainment, now under Microsoft, appoints Johanna Faries, ex-Activision Call of Duty GM, as its new president.

Blizzard Entertainment, a division of Microsoft acquired for $69 billion, has appointed Johanna Faries as its new president. Faries, previously the general manager for the Call of Duty franchise at Activision, has more than a decade of experience with the NFL. The appointment follows recent changes at Activision led by Xbox chief Phil Spencer, aimed at stabilizing game franchises and boosting revenue.
