Soup's On fundraiser at Bayshore Community Centre, organized by Alzheimer Society Grey-Bruce, featured volunteers sharing personal stories of loss and struggle related to early onset dementia.

The Alzheimer Society Grey-Bruce's Soup's On fundraiser at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre saw local vendors serving soup for personal causes, many of whom have been affected by dementia. The event aimed to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's disease. The top soups were selected in three categories: Best Vegetarian, Best Hearty, and Best Creamy. The fundraiser supports more than 1,000 families living with dementia in the region, where 650,000 Canadians are currently living with the illness. The number is expected to reach almost one million by 2030.
