Two masked men attacked an Italian Catholic church in Istanbul during Sunday Mass, killing one person, according to Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya. The armed assailants targeted Santa Maria Church in the Sariyer district, and the individual who died during the attack has been identified with the initials CT; they were 52 years old. Hours later, Yerlikaya announced that the two suspects were members of ISIS, with one originating from Tajikistan and the other from Russia.
