The 61st annual Honda New Zealand Motocross Grand Prix at Woodville featured thrilling races and showcased some talented newcomers in the motocross world. Levin's Phoenix Van Dusschoten won the junior 14-16 years' 250cc class, while Seth Morrow secured a win in the junior 15-16 years', 125cc class. The event also introduced the inaugural FIM Oceania Women's MX Cup, a unique trans-Tasman challenge that attracted thousands of spectators.
