Wiltshire Council rejects proposal for up to nine new homes in Ramsbury.

Wiltshire Council has rejected a proposal for up to nine new homes in Ramsbury due to concerns of overdevelopment. The applicant had previously sought permission for 51 and 25 new dwellings on the same site in 2014 and 2015, without success. In recent planning news, Wiltshire Council received applications for 50 ground-mounted solar panels at Wick Farm, near Heddington, and 24 panels on land adjacent to Arminger House in Kington Langley. Permission is also being sought for photovoltaic equipment on the roof of the Morrisons building in Chippenham. The council has granted permission for cricket nets at Wilcot Cricket Club and Bradford Cricket and Football Club, and for equestrian facilities at Orchard House in Filands and White House Farm in Brinkworth.
