On January 27, 2024, four people were found dead from gunshot wounds in a Granada Hills home in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at the residence on Lerdo Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered three victims and the body of the person believed to be the shooter, a man in his late 80s, who had suffered an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. A witness who was present at the scene barricaded themselves in another room and called the police. The relationship between the witness and the deceased individuals remains unclear, and the motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
