ISRO launches INSAT-3DS meteorological satellite for GSLV F14 launch at Sriharikota in early February, funded by MoES.

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has flagged off its meteorological satellite, INSAT-3DS, to the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) at Sriharikota for launch onboard GSLV F14. The satellite, funded by the Ministry of Earth Science (MoES), is based on ISRO's I-2k bus platform and has a lift-off mass of 2275 kg. Indian industries have played a significant role in its production. The exact launch date is not disclosed yet, but it is expected in early February.
