Hertfordshire Zoo discovers three new Africa penguin chicks, increasing colony size to 21 and contributing to the European Ex-situ conservation program.

In late November, bird keepers at Hertfordshire Zoo, formerly known as Paradise Wildlife Park, discovered three new African penguin chicks in the penguin colony. The chicks have been cared for by their parents, Albert, Akiki, Tanesha, and Mkuze, and have been thriving under the watchful eyes of the bird-keeping team at the zoo. These rare African penguin chicks have increased the zoo's African penguin colony to 21.
