The Cleveland Guardians have signed free-agent pitcher Tyler Beede, who was twice a first-round MLB draft pick, to a minor league contract with a non-roster invitation to spring training. Beede, 30, has spent parts of four seasons in the big leagues and pitched for Yomiuri Giants in Japan in 2023, posting a 3.99 ERA in 30 appearances.
