Right-handed pitcher Carlos Carrasco, 36, has agreed to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training with the Cleveland Guardians, according to a person familiar with the negotiations. Carrasco spent 11 seasons pitching for Cleveland before being traded to the New York Mets in 2021. In 2019, Carrasco was diagnosed with leukemia and was sidelined for three months but returned to play in the 2022 season.
