A Virginia woman has been sentenced to two consecutive life terms after being convicted of first-degree murder in the shooting deaths of her mother and sister in Fairfax County in 2017. Megan Hargan staged a murder-suicide scene in an attempt to steal over $400,000 to fund a new home. In addition to the life sentences, Hargan was also sentenced to six years for two weapon-related charges.
