37-year-old William Litwinowich from Brockville, wanted on a Canadawide warrant for weapon possession and assault, was found in Calgary and arrested by local police, facing additional charges for not attending court.
The 37-year-old William Litwinowich from Brockville was brought back to Brockville by local provincial police officers after being found in Calgary. Litwinowich was wanted due to a Canadawide warrant for not showing up in court for charges of weapon possession for a dangerous purpose and assault with intent to resist arrest, which date back to January 2021. He was later charged by Leeds OPP with failure to attend court and failure to comply with an undertaking. Litwinowich is now in custody and awaits his next court appearance on February 23.
