Teen girl critically wounded in drive-by on Chicago's West Side.
A 14-year-old girl was critically injured in a drive-by shooting on Thursday evening in Chicago's East Garfield Park neighborhood on the city's West Side. The incident occurred around 5:20 p.m. in a vacant lot on the 3000 block of West Lexington Street when someone in a passing vehicle opened fire, striking the girl multiple times. She was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, and no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
