The BIA Innovator Campus, Ireland's first Centre of Excellence for the food industry, has officially opened in Athenry, County Galway. This facility aims to help micro and small food producers grow their businesses by offering access to production spaces, knowledge, and innovation resources. The campus is funded by multiple agencies, including Enterprise Ireland and the Department of Rural and Community Development, featuring 12 production units, four commercial production kitchens, a 60-seat auditorium, meeting rooms, and a showcase area for buyers.
