Peter Navarro gets a 4-month sentence for defying the Jan. 6 House subpoena.

Trump White House official Peter Navarro was convicted of contempt of Congress for refusing to cooperate with a congressional investigation into the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. He was sentenced to four months in prison, becoming the second Trump aide to be convicted of such charges. Navarro served as a White House trade adviser under Trump and promoted Republican claims of voter fraud.
